One 1.5 hour beginner class. Learn the board, load your first songs, and start a track on beat.
4 Week Course
Four 1.5 hour classes, once a week. First touch to your first set, with weekly homework.
Equipment included means a DJ board and iPad setup are ready for you at every class. Setups are limited and reserved first come, first served.
Questions
Do I need any DJ experience?
None at all. Week 1 starts from the very beginning: what every button does and how to load your first song.
Do I need my own equipment?
No. If you have a board, bring it. If not, choose equipment included and a board and iPad setup will be ready for you: $135 for the Intro Class or $475 for the 4 week course. Setups are limited and reserved first come, first served, so pick yours when you sign up. Have a board but no iPad? Your phone or laptop works too. Just download Serato or rekordbox before class.
Can I take just one class?
Yes. The Intro Class is a single 1.5 hour beginner class that runs as its own group, separate from the 4 week course. It is $65 if you bring your own equipment, or $135 with equipment included.
Who teaches the course?
A professional working DJ leads every class. The course is curated and produced by ASN.
What if I miss a class?
Each student gets one makeup by joining the same class with the next cohort, space permitting.
What's the graduation photo?
In Week 4, a professional photographer shoots every graduate behind the decks. Your edited photos arrive within 7 days, free of charge.
When is the first class?
